The All Ireland Cultural Society of Oregon hosts an annual winter luncheon, so I was asked to setup a payment page that provided several variables on pricing:
- $30.00 per member
- $35.00 per guest
- Four choices for entree
- Online payment by Credit card, PayPal or Venmo
The WordPress plugin WooCommerce handles products with simple pricing or with variations, but it doesn’t let you add choices, so I used another plugin called Advanced Product Fields for WooCommerce to get the features that I needed.
Here’s what a user sees for purchase choices:
Clicking the Checkbox for Guest will automatically update the Options and Grand total values. Choosing one of the Entrees sets your food preference. Members and Guests then click the button to Add to cart, and finally make their payment. Mission accomplished using WordPress and popular plugins.
