The email scammers are getting more sophisticated in how realistic their email messages look, consider this one from today:
There’s a nice looking logo, proper English grammar, but there are still a few clues that this is a phishing email:
- No First and Last name
- No Account #
The final clue that this is a scam is when I click on the From email address:
Amazon emails come from amazon.com, not gmail.com, so do not pick up the phone and call these scammers. Be vigilant when receiving emails, and do some simple checks to confirm that the sender is legitimate.
